About Us

The library was established in 2005, as a labour of love for Anon Y. Mous, to serve the diverse range of potential users within the of community - residents and vistors to the north Norfolk coast area - primarily from Hunstanton to Cromer, but also welcoming people from further afield.

Having been an area poorly served by broadband coverage, one of the library's main aims is to provide a place for local residents to access the internet. Particularly the elderly members of the community who, as well as not having the equipment to access the internet, may also need some help building skills to get the most out of their time online. To this end we run regular computer and internet skills sessions (LINK).

Recognising that the area also hosts holidayers, particuarly suring the summer months, another of our aims is to provide a quality source of books, films and music for families paying the area a visit, many of whom return each year.

We pride ourselves on providing a first first-class lending service and a welcoming, supportive environment for users to meet and learn. We have a large collection of fiction and non-fiction books (including e-books), DVDs and CDs for all the family.

The library is run by a small but dedicated team, with great knowledge of the local area.
